Eesha is a recently released Telugu horror film that was promoted very aggressively by its makers prior to release. The teaser generated decent curiosity among audiences, and the team confidently claimed that the film would scare the hell out of viewers.
However, once it hit theatres, Eesha opened to mixed word of mouth and eventually ended its theatrical run as a below-average fare at the box office.
We at OTT Play had earlier reported that Amazon Prime Video had acquired the digital rights to the film. As announced, Eesha began streaming on Amazon Prime Video from February 20, 2026. OTT Play subscribers can also watch the film through a special top-up option available on the platform.

The film features Aditya Arun, Akhil Raj, Sri Hanumant, and Hebah Patel in the lead roles. The music has been composed by RR Dhruvan, whose background score received considerable appreciation.
The jump scares, supported heavily by the sound design, managed to impress a section of the audience and worked effectively in several key moments.
Directed by Srinivas Manne, Eesha was conceived primarily as a horror film that relies more on jump scares and technical sound elements than on a layered storyline.
With advancements in sound technology, the director focused strongly on audio effects to enhance the overall experience. While the first half of the film manages to keep the audience engaged, the second half loses momentum and feels stretched in parts.
Hebah Patel plays a crucial role, and her performance stands out as one of the better aspects of the film. Eesha may appeal to viewers who enjoy loud jump scares and atmospheric horror backed by strong sound design. However, beyond its technical strengths, the film offers limited narrative depth.
Interestingly, Amazon Prime Video is streaming the movie under the spelling Isha instead of Eesha. The reason for this change remains unknown. The film is also available in multiple South Indian languages for streaming.
