Eesha Rebba, the Antaka Mundu Aa Taruvatha girl, has consistently delivered solid performances across a wide range of roles, be it Bandipotu or Awe or Ami Thumi, Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, to name a few. She forayed into the web space with OTT projects like Pitta Kathalu, 3 Roses and also plays a key role in Disney+ Hotstar’s show Dayaa, which releases tomorrow.

The actress spoke of her experiences at the show’s pre-release event. “It looks like a family celebration today, I congratulate our team for making such a kickass project. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to pull off the role. I got this offer at a time when I was worried about getting stereotyped to certain set of roles. It was an intense character and I trusted Pavan Sadineni with it,” she said.

After watching the show, she felt that every character got an opportunity to make an impact. “It’s not about the length of the role and every character is etched well. You’ll look at Gayathri Gupta in a new light, all thanks to Pavan. Though I may have watched Bombai Priyudu and his previous films, I’ve never seen JD Chakravarthy in such a role in Telugu,” Eesha shared.

She called JD Chakravarthy a phenomenal actor and stated she got to learn a lot from him. “I still refer to him as Dayaa. After the shoot when the team got to see the rushes, I really appreciate his effort to call and applaud me for my performance, it meant a lot to me. I was unsure if it would work and even expressed my apprehension during the shoot.”

“I was very confident about its result after watching the entire footage. Each and every actor, Vishnupriya, Kamal Kamaraju, Josh Ravi, Bhanu, Moin, Ramya Nambessan and you wouldn’t have seen them in such roles before. Hats off to all the technicians who were a part of it. Please watch Dayaa on August 4,” she signed off.
