Harshvardhan Rane’s Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat enjoys a steady run at the box office despite a major clash with Thamma. The romantic saga earned Rs 7.50 crore (early estimates) on Wednesday after opening with Rs 9 crore on October 21, coinciding with Diwali. Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat not only became the highest-grossing film of Harshvardhan’s career but also surpassed the lifetime run of his 2016 film Sanam Teri Kasam (approx. 9 crore) until it changed in its re-release. 

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat covered an overall Hindi occupancy of 30.96% on October 22. It had an occupancy of 11.80% for morning shows, while the afternoon shows had a huge spike with 36.18%, followed by the evening shows with 37.58% occupancy. The night shows observed the highest occupancy of the day with 38.28%.

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat minted an overall net collection of Rs 16.50 crore (early estimates) and is expected to cross Rs 20 crore today if it continues its steady growth. Meanwhile, Thamma is also going strong with Rs 42 crore net collection in just two days of its release.
