Ek Love Ya Twitter reactions: Fans praise Raana’s acting debut, call film ‘different’ from Prem’s other work

The day Prem fans have been anxiously waiting for, has finally arrived - the day, the filmmaker’s latest directorial venture, titled Ek Love Ya hits theatres. The romantic action film was released today, marking the director’s return to his craft after almost three years. So naturally, expectations and excitement for it were high indeed from his longtime fans. Some viewers took to Twitter today to say how they felt about the film.

Although sparse, most of the users' reactions seem to suggest that the film did not leave much of a memorable impact on them. Some loved it and others, not so much.

The ones who did love the film said it showcased a ‘different’ side of the director and showered special praise towards the film’s soundtrack, composed by Arjun Janya, with one user calling the score one of the film’s highlights. While one user called the film’s story ‘excellent’ and said that the film did not have even a single boring scene, another commented on how the film contained an important ‘message’. Another called it a ‘beautiful love story’.

Performances by the film’s cast were widely appreciated, with some highlighting debutant Raana’s performance in particular.

Some users were also seen tweeting about how they heard negative reviews of the film going around, although, they did not specifically say anything about the film. While one said their friends, who they described as ‘genuine movie lovers’ reacted badly to the film, another started to wonder if the negativity spelled the ‘end of Prem’s career’.
