Ek Villain Returns is one of the much awaited movies of the year. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the thriller drama since it was announced. The makers of the movie have now released a new poster, featuring Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria. The new poster in black and white shows the two in an intense look.    

Arjun Kapoor posted the poster and wrote a quirky caption: "Hero ya heroine ka toh pata nahin, par Ek Villain zaroor hai iss kahani mein! #EkVillainReturns, trailer out tomorrow. Coming to your nearest cinema halls this Villaintines Day- 29th July 2022."

The poster has taken the excitement levels of the fans to the other level. Many celebrities and fans are commenting on the poster. Ranveer Singh expressed his excitement while the trainer Kris Gethin commented that Kapoor is looking good. 

Actor Arjun Kapoor also recently took to Instagram to reveal to the fans that the movie鈥檚 trailer is getting ready to be released. He had earlier posted a few images, posing with the Ek Villain mask in Paris. The actor looked dashing in a suit with the yellow mask. Sharing the post, he had written: "#EkVillain was in Paris and is now headed to Mumbai for the Big launch. Brace yourselves for some epic villainy coming your way! 馃槇 #EkVillainReturns."

It was earlier reported that Aditya Roy Kapur was being considered for the role but due to some creative differences with the director, he backed out and the role went to Arjun Kapoor. 

Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Suri are producing the movie under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures and T-Series. The film also stars John Abraham and Disha Patani. The film is all set to hit theatres on July 29. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2014 film, Ek Villain, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead.
