Mohit Suri’s 2014 thriller Ek Villain was a major box office winner, following its release. So when a sequel to the movie was announced, fans were excited to see what happens next. The makers of the sequel have now released four new posters for the movie, featuring the four main leads.
Mohit Suri shared four posters with John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani holding the yellow mask that was featured in the earlier posters. Sharing the photos, the director wrote, “In the world of Villains, Heroes don't exist! And #EkVillain is back after 8 years. Beware #EkVillainReturns on 29th July 2022”. The poster also comes with the tagline, “Heroes Don’t Exist.”
The post also confirms that the movie will hit theatres around the country on July 29. The movie initially had a release date of July 8, but it was eventually pushed back. The movie’s producer Ekta Kapoor had earlier said in a statement that the sequel will have more action, suspense and drama than the original.
Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Suri are producing the movie under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures and T-Series. Rashtra Kavach Om actor Aditya Roy Kapoor was first roped in to be a part of the movie, but he backed out, leading to the casting of Arjun Kapoor.
