The immense success of CID and Crime Patrol on OTT appears to have forced Ekta Kapoor to bring her classics back in the digital world, too. The same is suggested as the latest speculation is that Ekta could bring Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi back, this time for OTT. Ekta Kapoor's plans to revive Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi for OTT

Ekta Kapoor confirmed that Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will be making a comeback. "The love we have for this program brought everyone related to it back together to complete just those 150 episodes to reach that 2000-episode mark. This show deserves that," she said at a recent event.

CID and Crime Patrol's OTT success pushes Ekta Kapoor to think about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahut Thi revival?

Both CID as well as Crime Patrol are now out on OTT, and as expected, both shows are performing extremely well. Although there is controversy around ACP Pradhyuman and a much-younger Paarth Samthaan replacing Shivaji Satam in CID, the show has remained beloved till now. Similar is the case with Crime Patrol, a TV show that we grew up watching.

Interestingly, Ekta Kapoor had revived her TV show Pavitra Rishta for OTT previously. The same did create immense buzz, but since it was released years after Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely demise and fans missed seeing him, it did not perform as expected.

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi to mark Smriti Irani's acting comeback too

Well-known actor-turned-politician Smriti Irani was the leading face of the TV show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Ekta hinted that she would make a comeback with the OTT version too by stating, "We are bringing politics into entertainment, or better, a politician into entertainment."

Now, with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi OTT release being on the timeline, we would not be surprised if the other immensely popular Ekta Kapoor-backed TV show Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii also opts for an OTT release soon.
