Ektaa R Kapoor only Indian to make it to 40 Most Influential Women in International Film

Ektaa R Kapoor has made it to 40 Most Influential Women in International Film. The producer is the only Indian to make it to the list this year. She is a Television as well as film producer. Ekta is also the Joint Managing Director of Balaji Telefilms Limited.

Currently, Ektaa is not only a major name in the Indian film industry but is also recognized as a visionary in South Asia. She is considered among one of South Asia's most prodigious TV producers.

While Ektaa was majorly active in the TV industry for the longest time, she expanded to films in 2001. She had backed Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta.

Ever since, Ektaa is associated with some of the massive Bollywood movies like Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Ek Villain, Udta Punjab, Veere Di Wedding and Dream Girl. In fact, she has also backed Dream Girl 2, which is scheduled for release on August 25.

She has associated with Rhea Kapoor once again for their untitled project which is scheduled for September 22, 2023 release. The producer is also backing Hansal Mehta’s murder mystery with Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role.
