One of Netflix's most-watched shows worldwide, the Spanish teen thriller drama Elite's fourth instalment is just around the corner. Returning to Netflix are the students of the elite school, Las Encinas, with another year filled with conflicts, lies and new mysteries. The popular show that first came out in 2018 had grabbed the attention of fans with a turbulent murder mystery unfolding in the first two seasons of the show. Presenting drama and plenty of scandals on the plate, Elite instantly became a fan-favourite among audiences who are eagerly waiting for the next season to release. When is Elite Season 4 releasing?

The fourth season of Elite is arriving on Netflix on June 18. A trailer released earlier shows the arrival of new faces in the prestigious Las Encinas. With new faces will come new mysteries and drama. Hold on to your seat belts because Elite season 4 is coming to blow your mind!

Who's coming back and who's not in season 4?

It's kinda hard to accept but season 3 wrapped up the stories of most of the cast members. Five original cast members will be moving ahead with their lives and careers after graduating from Las Encinas and as unfortunate as it is, they will not be a part of Season 4. The five major characters that are either dead or have sailed off to university are Mina El Hammani (Nadia), Ester Expósito (Carla), Danna Paola (Lu), Álvaro Rico (Polo) and Jorge López (Valerio). However, Mina (playing Nadia) will be seen making a cameo, as seen in the trailer.

Who's new in Season 4?

Samu (Itzan Escamilla), Guzman (Miguel Bernardeau), Ander (Arón Piper), Omar Shana (Omar Ayuso), Rebeca (Claudia Salas) and Cayetana (Georgina Amorós) will all be back to repeat a year at Las Encinas, so you can be assured that the trouble that follows them is here to stay. Four new characters entering the school will be played by Manu Dios, Pol Granch, Carla Díaz and Martina Cariddi. With the arrival of new characters on the show, expect high volumes of entertainment.

What is Elite Season 4 going to be about?

The fourth instalment will carry on with the journey of the remaining members of the original cast. It will chronicle how they tackle Polo's death and how they will navigate through life at Las Encinas. Clubbed with new characters, rules will be broken and we can expect another murder mystery to roll out.

Before the news season released on Netflix, from June 14 up until Elite's June 18, Elite hosted an 'Elite Week' by releasing four different short stories each day that showcased what the cast members did during the summer before school starts again. Episodes titled 'Guzman and Caye and Rebe', 'Nadia and Guzman', 'Omar and Ander and Alexis' and 'Carla and Samuel' were released each day to hype up the latest season.
