Elite Season 5 teaser: New season of Spanish thriller teen drama is about breaking free

Here's some exciting news for the fans of the Spanish teen drama, Elite. The teaser of season 5 of the Netflix show is out and it is about breaking free. The teaser shows different characters from the show saying what would they like to break free from. While some say they'd like to break free from social norms and expectations, others say they want to be free from control, appearances and even pleasure.

At Las Encinas, as the makers say, a new semester means new love triangles, new students, new rules — and a new mysterious crime. The new season will have a new star cast too that includes ValentinaZenere as Isadora, André Lamoglia as Iván and Adam Nourou as Bilal and Isabel Garrido. Garrido's role is not yet revealed. 

The new season will continue where the last season ended. It will be about the aftermath of Armando’s brutal murder. Season 4 had ended with several cliffhanger moments.  

Season 5 of the show was renewed in January 2020 along with the fourth season of the popular drama reportedly by Netflix confirmed the news in February last year. The filming for season 5 began in February last year and was completed in June as it was being shot back to back. 

Élite Season 5 is scheduled to be released on Netflix on April 8.
