Looks like all is not well for Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner Elvish Yadav! The popular YouTuber was arrested on March 17 over distributing snake venom at rave parties in the National Capital Region. In a November 2023 raid, Noida Police confiscated 20 milliliters of snake venom from a group of individuals, along with five cobras, a python, two two-headed snakes, and a rat snake. According to a report published by NDTV on March 18, Elvish Yadav, a 26-year-old YouTuber, has admitted his role in bringing snakes and snake venom to rave parties he organized. During questioning, he allegedly confessed to knowing individuals arrested last year for supplying snake venom. Initially, Yadav denied involvement, but later admitted to meeting the suspects at parties and staying in contact with them, sources told the news outlet.
The social media influencer was arrested on March 18 and remanded to 14 days of judicial custody. In addition to his ongoing Wildlife Act case, Yadav now faces charges under the strict Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. He is accused of conspiracy under Section 29, which covers drug-related activities like procurement and distribution. Securing bail under this law is difficult. Meanwhile, an investigation into the case is underway.
