Why wasn’t Elvish’s bail application heard

The lawyers have gone on a strike and that happened soon after Elvish got arrested in the Snake Venom case. It was because of the protests that Elvish’s bail application was not heard in court. It is to be noted that this is not the first time that Elvish applied for a bail and it was not heard in court.

On Elvish’s arrest

Before his arrest, Elvish’s case was presented in Surajpur, Greater Noida’s district court. He was sent to judicial custody for 14 days on March 17.

Seven arrests have been made in the case. Five people were arrested before Elvish and they were out on bail. Today, some time back, two more arrests were made in the Snake Venom smuggling case. Elvish’s close friend Vinay was among them, and the other was Ishwar. Reportedly, Elvish has admitted to smuggling snake venom to the party held in Noida.

An FIR was filed against six people with Noida sector 49, Uttar Pradesh police station on November 3.
