A report on Pinkvilla suggested that Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani have commenced shooting for Awarapan 2 in Bangkok. Half the movie is scheduled to be shot in Thailand, and the rest will be shot across various other locations. The movie is expected to wrap up shooting by January 2026 and release on April 3, 2026.
