Emraan Hashmi in talks with Vishesh Bhatt for modern love story with dark twist? Here's what we know

Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has had successful collaborations with producers Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt. He starred in movies like Murder, Gangster, and Raaz: The Mystery Continues. Emraan's last collaboration with the Bhatts was for Raaz: Reboot. Nine years down the line, the Bollywood actor is reportedly in talks to work with filmmaker Vishesh Bhatt for a twisted musical love story. Vishesh is producer Mukesh Bhatt's son.

Emraan Hashmi to reunite with Vishesh Bhatt?

According to the Mid-Day report, Vishesh Bhatt's upcoming film with Emraan Hashmi will be his second directorial after Murder 3. The media report suggests that Emraan has been frequently visiting Vishesh's office for over a year regarding a new film discussion.

"Last week, he was again spotted at their Khar office. While they have shortlisted a few stories, the one that has their attention is a modern love story with a dark twist, written by Vishesh. Things will be finalized by March," a source told the tabloid.

Mukesh Bhatt, too, hinted at their possible collaboration. "We’re looking at options, but it’s too early to talk about it. Vishesh is at the helm of it. He is now taking the banner forward, but yes, I will be there [to oversee] the music," the senior producer said.

Emraan Hashmi's upcoming projects

On the work front, Emraan Hashmi has a couple of exciting projects lined up. The actor will be seen in Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar's film Ground Zero. He will play the role of a BSF officer in the movie, which also stars Sai Tamhankar and Pratik Gandhi. Hashmi has also come on board for Adivi Sesh's G2. He will be playing the role of the main antagonist in the film. It's being directed by filmmaker Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi.
