Walt Disney Animation Studios dropped the enchanting trailer for Encanto and it's a sheer visual delight. The animated film narrates the tale of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family who live in a wondrous place called an Encanto. Each child in the family is blessed with unique magical powers except Mirabel. The trailer shows each family member living life to the fullest in the magical and colourful world without facing any dull moment.

However, their family home is threatened and is on the verge of going into shambles. That's when the family believes that Mirabel is their only home to save Encanto's magic. The trailer shows Mirabel going on a journey to bring the magic back alone but is faced with many obstacles. She doesn't compromise on anything and with determination sets on a path to save her family home.

The film talks about how one has magic within to overcome any obstacles faced by their near and dear ones. 

Stephanie Beatriz of Brooklyn Nine-Nine fame has given the voiceover for the lead character of Mirabel. The other voice cast includes María Cecilia Botero as Mirabel’s grandmother Alma aka Abuela; John Leguizamo as Bruno; Angie Cepeda & Wilmer Valderrama as Mirabel’s parents, Julieta & Agustín and Diane Guererro & Jessica Darrow as Mirabel’s sisters, Isabela & Luisa.

Encanto also features voices by Carolina Gaitán & Mauro Castillo as Mirabel’s aunt & uncle, Pepa & Félix and Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz & Ravi Cabot-Conyers as Mirabel’s cousins Dolores, Camilo & Antonio, respectively.

The much-awaited animated film is directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush. While Charise Castro Smith has co-directed Encanto. Jared co-wrote the film with Castro Smith while Clark Spencer and Yvett Merino are the producers.

Encanto is slated to hit the big screens during the Thanksgiving weekend on November 24, 2021.
