Engineering Girls 2 release date: When and where to watch the tale on love and friendship

Adding delight to the wait of Engineering Girls lovers, the series is all set for the release of its second season. Engineering Girls 2.0- Sapno Ki Theory, Life Ke Practicals can be streamed on ZEE5 from August 27.

Helmed by Apoorv Singh Karki, the five-episode series is set in an engineering college. Revolving around the three female leads Maggu, Sabu and Kiara (played by Kritika Avasthi, Barkha Singh and Sejal Kumar respectively), the show follows their college and hostel life. While getting serious with their studies, the trio also faces adventures in their personal lives. They try to solve it one by one, overcome it, and come out of it even stronger. 

The first season of the show was released in 2018 and it turned out to be a big success. What makes it different is the treatment of the subject. Even though there are numerous shows available about the life of engineering students, focusing on the engineering girls is rare. Many got to see their college days on screen and feel nostalgic. The show topped the favourite shows list for many, despite it being a short web series.

Since the release of the season 2 trailer last week, fans have been looking forward to seeing the trio back. Now that the date is confirmed, everyone's all excited for the on campus experience again. The Apoorv Singh Karki and Kunal Aneja directorial is backed by Arun Kumar and Puneet Waddan. Written by Prakriti Kargeti, the modern college drama’s cast includes Kritika Avasthi, Surbhi Verma, Barkha Singh and Sejal Kumar.
