Lijo Jose Pellissery’s highly anticipated film, Malaikottai Vaaliban, released in theatres on January 25. The story of the period drama revolves around a travelling wrestler who has become the reigning champion in various lands. Things change after he meets the beautiful Rangapattinam Rangarani. Around the same time, he also meets Chamathakan, an opponent who leads the hero to his biggest challenge.

Pathonpatham Noottandu

Pathonpatham Noottandu is based on the life of warrior Arattupuzha Velayudha Panicker, who battled against caste-based social injustices. The film is set in the 19th-century Travancore. The film failed to impress the audience with its poor VFX and underwhelming performances. Mammootty, Unni Mukundan, and Siddique are playing prominent roles in this period film.
