Ennivar OTT release date: When and where to watch Sarjano Khalid, Sidhartha Siva's political drama

Malayalam filmmaker Sidhartha Siva’s Ennivar is all set for its OTT release. The political drama, which won the Best Director and Best Character Actor awards at the 2021 Kerala State Awards, has Sarjano Khalid, known for his roles in films such as June, 4 Years and Big Brother, and composer Sooraj S Kurup as its protagonists.

When and where to watch Ennivar?

Saina Play has bagged the digital rights of Ennivar and the film will be available to stream on the platform from September 29.

Ennivar revolves around a group of college students who go into hiding after a political conflict. The film touches upon campus politics and how innocent lives are affected by the decisions of political parties. In addition to politics, the theme of friendship is also explored throughout Ennivar.

Cast of Ennivar

Sooraj and Sarjano's characters share a deep friendship that the film delves into, portraying their emotional dynamics. Sudheesh plays the character Das, a veteran political leader who is also aware of the system. Ennivar depicts the plight of grassroots workers in a political party who are often subjugated and controlled by those in power. Binu Pappu, known for his roles in Saudi Vellakka and Bheemante Vazhi, is also an important presence in the movie. Director Jeo Baby, who has appeared on screen in films like Sreedhanya Catering Service and Kolla, is also part of the Sidhartha Siva directorial.

Sarjano Khalid about Ennivar

In an interview with OTTplay, Sarjano disclosed that the film's shoot was concluded amid the pandemic lockdown, following an acting workshop. He also explained that his character is different from the chocolate boy roles he has played so far. The Big Brother actor stated that although Ennivar was intended to be a movie for film festivals, they received audience feedback that it also worked as a commercial film.
