The much anticipated Enola Holmes 2 finally made its way onto the silver screen on Friday, and netizens could not hold back on their excitement. The film saw Millie Bobby Brown reprise her role as the titular young detective, who decides to open her own detective business after her very successful maiden case, and who finds herself tasked with solving the disappearance of a young girl named Sarah Chapman. The sequel seemed to have drawn fans in right from the day of its release, and netizens could not resist expressing their opinion about the film on Twitter.
The film seemed to have elicited unanimously positive responses from netizens. ‘Amazing’, ‘a must watch’, were some of the words used to describe the film. A number of viewers even went so far as to call the film a ‘masterpiece’. While one user said that the film stole their heart, another wrote “I watched enola Holmes 2 and magically got clear skin”.
There were a lot of things users absolutely loved about the film. Calling the film a fun watch, one user appreciated the film for touching upon themes related to labour rights, and others appreciated the plot as well as performances. Some users were also of the opinion that the sequel was better than the first. Others claimed that the sequel was definitely worth the two year wait the makers put them through.
