Story of ErIc
Eric is written by Emmy-winning Abi Morgan, who is famous for The Hour, Shame, The Iron Lady, and more. The plot delves deeper when Vincent finds out some mysterious facts about his 9-year-old son Edger’s disappearance. Vincent is a puppeteer and creator of popular children’s television show - Good Day Sunshine. Vincent will be seen clinging onto Eric, the blue monster puppet, who threatens him that if Vincent could make him popular, he will help him find Edger.
Despite getting support from his colleagues, police and detectives, Eric becomes Vincent’s only ally to bring back Edger. Fans will get to watch Benedict Cumberbatch in a whole new and unique avatar in Eric. The desperate, insane behaviour of Vincent promises to make your jaw drop.
