The talented television actress Erica Fernandes rose to fame with her first daily soap titled Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi in 2016. She played the character of a lead actress named Dr Sonakshi Bose opposite the charmer Shaheer Sheikh who essayed Dev Dixit. The actress recently revealed that she has been consciously rejecting all the OTT projects that have been coming her way.

For the uninitiated, the third season of Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi ended abruptly in 2021. According to a report on BollywoodLife.com, the actress revealed that she is on a break and is spending time with her family and is utilising her break to work on herself. Talking to a leading portal Erica agreed that the OTT world is booming rigorously and due to the freedom of streaming a barrage of content, she has also been offered a few OTT shows recently but refused them all.

The Ninnindale actress further revealed that she had to turn down the web series offers as she is not very comfortable doing the intimate scenes on-screen. "This was the reason I had to turn down many web shows because the level of intimacy was a bit too much for me," she added.

"I am not the type of person who would want to be locked up in a house," the actress replied when asked by the leading daily about her thoughts on doing reality shows.

Erica began her filmography down South with films like Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu (Tamil), Ninnindale (Kannada) and Galipatam (Telugu). Along with working in the hit franchise Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, the actress has also been seen in Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Prerna opposite Parth Samthaan in 2018.
