Eternals is all set to release in theatres across the world to the excitement of Marvel fans. The movie which tells a story following the events of Avengers: Endgame has a lot of hope riding on it.

One of the more interesting aspects about the movie is the star-studded cast of the movie. There is a very talented and diverse cast who will appear in the movie. Gemma Chan, who plays Sersi in the movie, has said that this should be the norm in the industry.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Chan said that it has only been a couple of years since Captain Marvel, which had a female lead, to Eternals, but it feels natural and like it's about time.

She also said, “ Hopefully we'll get to a point where having a diverse cast like this is just par for the course and not a big deal.”

Chan’s Sersi is an Eternal who poses as a museum curator on Earth while dating Dane Whitman (Kit Harington). She has the power to manipulate matter.

Eternals are immortal superheroes who have been living secret lives on Earth for many years, until coming together to fight the evil Deviants who seek to destroy peace on Earth.

Apart from Chan, the diverse cast of Eternals include Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan and Don Lee.

Eternals, which is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Phase Four, is set to release in theatres in India on November 5.
