Eternals which is MCU's third film in Phase Four has got a release date in India. The Marvel film will be bringing fireworks on the big screens as it's getting a theatrical release during the Diwali weekend this year. Yes, Eternals is slated to release on November 5, 2021. The much-awaited film is getting a release in multiple languages namely English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
Directed by Academy Award winner Chloé Zhao, the superhero spectacle welcomes an exciting new team to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is set in the events that took place after Avengers: Endgame as Iron Man brings back half of the universe which was wiped by Thanos using the stones.
Eternals spans thousands of years and features a group of immortal heroes who are forced out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s oldest enemy, The Deviants. The film has an exciting ensemble cast including Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak.
Moreover, Lia McHugh will be featuring as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena. While Kit Harington plays Dane Whitman.
After Spider-Man: Far From Home, Black Widow and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, MCU has expanded their universe in Phase Four by introducing more characters that will have a different and huge fan base altogether.
Chloe has penned the film with Patrick Burleigh, Ryan Firpo and Kaz Firpo.
Interestingly, Eternals is likely to clash with Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer Jersey on the big screens this Diwali.
