Season five of Money Heist is the final one and will be released in two parts this year with a gap of two months. Talking about the same, the creator of La Casa De Papel Álex Pina said in a statement that when they began to write the fifth part amid the pandemic, they felt that they had to change what was expected from the ten-episode season. For the same, they used every tool to create the sensation of a season finale or series finale in the first volume itself.
The maker further said, "We decided to work in an extremely aggressive genre, putting The Gang on the ropes."
About volume two, Alex revealed that they have focussed more on the emotional situation of the characters.
He concluded by saying, "It is a journey across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure."
