Exclusive! Actor Rubina Dilaik shares her favourite ZEE5 series and film and you will not be surprised!

Rubina Dilaik is one of the most popular actors in the TV industry. She began her career with Chhoti Bahu and rose to fame with the show, Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. She also participated in Bigg Boss 14 and won the Salman Khan-hosted reality show. The actor is now making her Bollywood debut with the film Ardh. The ZEE5 film, also starring Rajpal Yadav, Hiten Tejwani and Kulbushan Kharbanda, will release on the streaming platform on June 10. It is directed by Palash Muchhal. 

The actor had said about her debut film that she stepped in with a blank state. "I feel secure to have started my new innings with a visionary like Palash and a talented co-star as Rajpal Sir,” she also added in her statement. The film revolves around the story of Rajpal Yadav's character Shiva, who is an aspiring actor. Coming from a low-income society, he is forced to act as a transgender and beg at the traffic signals for a living. The trailer of the film was released recently, which depicts the struggles of Shiva and his family. Rubina plays the role of his supportive wife in the movie. 

In a recent interaction with OTTplay, the actor revealed her two favourite series on ZEE5. She said she enjoyed watching Abhay and Love Hostel on the OTT platform. Abhay is a crime thriller series, which marked the OTT debut of Bollywood actor Kunal Kemmu. The series, which released its Season 3 recently, also stars Sandeepa Dhar, Elnaaz Norouzi, Asha Negi, Ram Kapoor and Nidhi Singh, among others.  

On the other hand, Love Hostel is a romantic thriller movie, directed by Shanker Raman. It features Bobby Deol, Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra in lead roles. The film released on ZEE5 early this year and was well-received by fans and critics alike. 

Rubina Dilaik also urged the audiences to watch the film Ardh. She is confident that they will love the film. 

Meanwhile, Rubina Dilaik will also be seen participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 12. The adventure reality show, which is hosted by Rohit Shetty, is all set to begin in South Africa. Rubina and other celebrity contestants like Shivangi Joshi, Pratik Sehajpal and Jannat Zubair have left for Cape Town to shoot for the show already.
