Exclusive-Akkineni Nagarjuna locks his 99th film finally, a debut director to helm the film, here's what we know

Akkineni Nagarjuna is one actor who does back-to-back films. But after the debacle of his last film The Ghost directed by Praveen Sattaru, he has decided to slow down and is also keeping a low profile. As he has not signed any Telugu film to date, the star hero has shifted his focus towards his new TV show, Bigg Boss 7 in Telugu. 

The reality show will kick start in the first week of September and Nagarjuna is busy shooting for the promos of the show. On the other other hand, there was news that Nagarjuna signed writer Prasanna Kumar as the director of his 99th film. 

The noted writer penned a story and took it to Nagarjuna as his original. When Nagarjuna found out that the film was a Malayalam remake with a lot of changes, he was furious and called off the project right away since then has not signed any film.

Well, we have come to know that Nagarjuna has now given a chance to a new director. The word in the film circles is that none other than young choreographer, Vijay Bunny has been roped in by Nagarjuna to direct his 99th film. The project is set and very soon, Nagarjuna is planning to announce the film during the Bigg Boss says the latest update.

What's special is that this film is also a remake of a Malayalam film and this aspect has been kept a secret as of now. Kajal Aggarwal is in talks to play the female lead in this film which will be produced by Srinivasa Silver Screens banner. 

On the other hand, Nagarjuna has also locked his prestigious 100th film with director Mohan Raja. His son, Akhil will also be playing a key role in this film. For now, Nagarjuna wants to make a comeback and score a hit.
