Exclusive! Angana Roy on her relationship with Rohaan Bhattacharjee: I feel secure around when he is around

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and love seems to be in the air for actress Angana Roy and actor Rohaan Bhattacharjee. They are currently working together in Star Jalsha’s Tumi Asheypashey Thakle which streams on Disney+ Hotstar. It has been speculated for a while that Angana and Rohaan were dating. They are usually seen together at parties and events. Now the actress spilled the beans to OTTplay. 

A blushing Angana said that they are ‘very good friends’. However, she admitted that they spend a lot of time together on and off the set. “I feel secure when he is around. We are very comfortable together. Most importantly, we are very good friends,” she said.

Angana and Rohaan first met while shooting a music video around Durga Puja in 2022. However, they came closer while shooting Tumi Asheypashey Thakle. In the serial, Angana plays two characters – a village woman and a ghost.

Now, the actress is busy promoting her upcoming film, Pariah. Directed by Tathagata Mukherjee, the film also features Vikram Chatterjee, Sreelekha Mitra, Loknath Dey, Soumya Mukherjee, and others. “This is my first Bengali film in which I play the female protagonist. I am really excited about it,” she said.  

Pariah will be released on Friday 9. The premier will take place at a South Kolkata Multiplex. Meanwhile, the Star Jalsha Paribar Award will also take place on the same evening. The actress, evidently, will have to do a bit of time management to attend both event as she claimed both are important to her.
