Young actor Danish Sood, who appears in the recently-released Randeep Hooda-starrer web series CAT, says he learned the great power of discipline and dedication from the lead actor of the show.

Sharing his experience of working with Randeep, who plays the protagonist Gurnam Singh in the show, Danish told OTTplay, "We all know that he (Randeep) is a fantastic actor, but since this was the first time that I got a chance to work with him, I was very impressed and fascinated watching him on set. I learned the power of discipline and dedication from him. He is an actor who arrives on set before anyone else and then with the attire, makeup and body language, he transforms into the character."

"He was so involved with each scene that he was not only focusing on the scenes that he is in, but how every character comes across as part of the whole narrative. So, he was very involved with everything, be it my equation with him in the story or interactions with other characters. He takes the hard work to a different level altogether," added the actor.

CAT is set in rural Punjab and the story addresses the issue of drug abuse and the involvement of youth, politicians and the system that is doing business out of narcotics and ruining the future of the youth of Punjab.

While Randeep's character, Gurnam Singh, is in search of the link to bust the drug nexus, Danish plays Sunny Singh, Gurnam's brother and a drug addict.

CAT is created by Balwinder Singh Janjua, and directed by Balwinder Singh Janjua, Rupinder Chahal and Jimmy Singh. It also features Suvinder Vicky, Hasleen Kaur, Geeta Aggarwal, Dakssh Ajit Singh, Jaipreet Singh, Sukhwinder Chahal, KP Singh and Kavya Thapar, among others. It is streaming on Netflix.
