Exclusive| Gayatri Bhardwaj on her Highway Love co-star Ritvik Sahore: He doesn’t take much time to prepare, he’s just good at his job

As the fans are really appreciating the on-screen chemistry between Gayatri Bhardwaj and Ritvik Sahore for their latest web series Highway Love, the actress shares why she loves working with Ritvik who she considers more than just a co-star. Talking about her experience of working with Ritvik, Gayatri told OTTplay, "I worked with Ritvik for the first time in our earlier web series called Ishq Express and we have become friends over the period of time. It is interesting that in both our shows, the story revolves around the journey.”

“In Ishq Express, we started the journey on a train and as teenagers, we all have our favourite story of a train ride to a destination, interaction with a stranger, and falling in love with one sometimes. Maybe we brew such stories also from films and shows but that's fun too! So when we started working on that series, we were mingling on those stories, and eventually, that led to our friendship," she shared.

Gayatri continued, "He is such a fabulous actor and a great co-star to have around. That way, I must mention that he is way senior to me because he has been working for the last 10 years, as we know he was a baby actor, a child actor. I think one of the fascinating things about Ritvik is, he does not take too much time to prepare, maybe because he has been facing the camera for so long that it is his second nature now. He is just good at his job. We also hang out together as friends so this time when we got to know that we will do this show together, we knew it will work because our audience has accepted our on-screen pairing," added the actress.

Ritvik made his acting debut with the film Ferrari Ki Sawaari in 2012 and went on to act in Aamir Khan's Dangal, web series like - Laakhon Mein Ek, Indori Ishq, Campus Diaries, Escaype Live, Ishq Express, and Highway Love.

In Highway Love, Gayatri plays the character of Inaaya who met Kartik (played by Ritvik) on a highway after her breakup with her boyfriend and sets on a journey. Throughout the journey, they find comfort in each other and develop a friendship. Then comes the emotional twist when both reach their destination and one, develops feelings for the other. What happens next, forms the crux of the show.  

The show also stars Kanupriya Pandit, Anshuman Malhotra, Aviral Gupta, Vvansh S Sethi among others. It is available to stream on Amazon miniTV.
