Exclusive: Guntur Kaaram's first half locked, Mahesh Babu thrilled with the output but asks for minor changes, details inside

Mahesh Babu is busy with the shooting of his new film, Guntur Kaaram. Trivikram Srinivas is directing the action drama on a sizable budget of close to Rs 120 crore. The film is nearing its completion and will be released as a Sankranthi special on January 13, 2023. 

The promotions for Guntur Kaaram have already begun and one song from the film, Dum Masala, is already a smash hit. Well, we have some interesting updates about this mass drama.

We at OTTplay have come to know that the makers have locked in the entire first half, along with the editing and dubbing. The news is also that Mahesh Babu has watched the first half with the director and was quite pleased with the way the first half has shaped up.

One of the sources from the team tells us that Mahesh has also asked for a few changes in the first half related to the runtime. The makers are racing against time to wrap up this film, which is expected to be the biggest release of Sankranthi 2024.

Sreeleela plays the female lead in the film, which has music by Thaman. Meenakshi Chaudhary is the second lead and seasoned actors like Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, and Ramya Krishna will be seen in key roles in this film. 

Haarika and Haasine Creation are bankrolling this film, which is Trivikram's third collaboration with Mahesh Babu. The action drama is set in Guntur and Mahesh Babu will be seen in an out-and-out mass role after a long gap.
