Exclusive! I Love You: Did Pavail Gulati just give away a major spoiler?

Since the trailer for I Love You was released on YouTube, the comments section has been filled with messages of appreciation and anticipation for hearing the voice of singer Adnan Sami, which has added an extra layer of mystery to the film. The full song, Yeh Nazar, has been released now, and the lead pair of the film, Pavail Gulati and Rakul Preet Singh, cannot stop praising the singer. And guess what? They have also given away some spoilers.

Since romantic films and songs go hand-in-hand, when we asked about Adnan Sami's song Yeh Nazar, Pavail told OTTplay, "The song by Adnan Sami is very special. He is one of my favourite singers from the 1990s. Many of his songs are loved by so many people, so it is an honour for us to have a song sung by him in I Love You."

Rakul added, "Yes, he is too good with love songs, and we have really missed his voice."

The song Yeh Nazar is written by Hussain Haidry and composed by Clinton Cerejo and Bianca Gome.

I Love You is a film about two young and independent individuals, Satya and Rakesh, played by Pavail and Rakul. Asked about their onscreen equation in the film, Pavail said, "The story of Satya and Rakesh is very interesting. They go through a lot of ups and downs in their relationship, but a situation takes place that takes them on a roller-coaster ride. But everything will be revealed once the film is released. We are trying to save the spoiler here. It is a thriller, and the story is layered."

Talking about her character in the film, Rakul said, "I am very similar to Satya's character in the film. She is a free-spirited, driven, and independent woman. She is very headstrong and determined, and that's why I think every girl should have a Satya in her."

The film is directed by Nikhil Mahajan and also stars Akshay Oberoi in a pivotal role. It will be available to stream on JioCinema starting June 16.
