According to the actor, the natural and unexplored beauty of Bihar and Jharkhand which was earlier, a part of Bihar impressed him so much that he is planning to do a backpacking trip to this state very soon.
The actor told OTTplay, " Before the shooting of the show, I did not go to Bihar, especially Jharkhand where we were shooting extensively. Whatever I have seen in the news about Bihar and heard from people is not at all what I have experienced about Bihar. You know, no one talks about the natural beauty of Bihar, the nature park, the hills, rivers over there and its beauty. Bihari food is so delicious and people speak so politely; though all we have seen in films is that Biharis are giving gaali to each other. No, that's not what Bihar is...that is the stereotype we made out of it. I have the plan to go to Bihar and Jharkhand just to explore as a tourist and enjoy a vacation there."
The show Khakee: The Bihar Chapter is based on the real-life journey of police officer Amit Lodha and a gang of criminals headed by Chandan Mahto. Jatin played the character of Dilip Sahu aka Chawanprash Sahu, a special commander of Chandan.
His performance is getting a lot of love from the audience, alongside Karan Tacker and Avinash Tiwary who played the lead in the show.
Jatin was earlier seen in the much-celebrated Netflix web series Sacred Games, and in films like Meeruthiya Gangsters, Saat Uchakkey, Sonchiriya, Bamfaad, Chhalaang.
His last theatrical release was the cricket drama 83, in which he played the character of the iconic cricketer late Yashpal Sharma. The film was based on the story of the Indian national cricket team of 1983 that won the nation's first cricket World Cup against the deadly West Indies.
Created by Neeraj Pandey, and directed by Bhav Dhulia, the latest show Khakee: The Bihar Chapter is also featuring - Ashutosh Rana, Aishwarya Sushmita, Shraddha Das, Nikita Dutta, Vinay Pathak and Anup Soni - streaming on Netflix.
