Exclusive! Is Sohini Sarkar pairing up with Afran Nisho?

Afran Nisho – a revered star in Bangladesh – became a household name in West Bengal after his riveting performance in Hoichoi’s Kaiser. Soon, his Bangladesh series Syndicate in Chorki also made him popular. As per sources, Afran Nisho may soon debut in Tollywood. While there has not been any confirmation yet, Bengali filmmaker Sujit Dutta was in touch and read the script to the actor. Sohini Sarkar, who has also been approached by the director’s team, may star opposite Nisho. 

With a working title Mishtimukh, the film delves into the life of a couple who seeks a child later in their life. As per sources, Sohini and Nisho both liked the script. Sujit has earlier directed City of Jackals which features Saayoni Ghosh, Joy Sengupta, and others as the lead.

Meanwhile, Afran Nisho will soon be back on Hoichoi with the second season of Kaiser. Besides, Ashfaque Nipun’s A Common Man will also see Nisho in the lead. 

On the other hand, Sohini will be seen in a number of Hoichoi web series, including the second seasons of Sampurna and Srikanto. According to sources, the actress may also work on a Bollywood project – a popular Hindi romantic franchisee – soon.
