Ragini Dwivedi, who is just back from a 30-day schedule shooting for her Malayalam-Kannada bilingual Sheela, is heading off to the set of her next. The actress has been signed up to be a part of K Thirugnanam’s One 2 One opposite Sundar C, which marks her return to Kollywood after the 2014 Nimirndhu Nil. One 2 One is Thirugnanam’s second directorial after Paramapadham Vilayattu, and will also star Vijay Varma, George Antony and Vichu, Manasvi, among others.

“I play Sundar C’s wife in the film, a character who is intelligent and homely. The film is a an emotionally intense thriller, so there will be quite a few performance-oriented scenes. I start shooting for the film from Monday. The team is looking at finishing it in two schedules,” says Ragini, who’s had to colour her hair back to black for the character, after sporting burgundy locks over the past few months.

In Kannada, the actress has been working on an action thriller called Sorry – Karma Returns, in which she sports a deglam look and is also slated to be a part of the multi-lingual crime thriller Johnny Walker with Abhay Veer, as well as the next instalment in the Karva franchise, Karva 3.

“I also have at least 5 more days of shoot pending to complete Sheela. Meanwhile, my Kannada film MMCH, in which I played a cop, is getting a Telugu-dubbed release on January 21, as Real Dandupalyam. The Mussanje Mahesh directorial also stars Meghana Raj Sarja, Prathama Prasad, Samyukta Hornad and Nakshatra, all of who are daughters of yesteryear actresses. The makers of my much-delayed Naane Next CM are also looking at reviving the project and releasing it soon. That apart, I am also in talks for a special number in a Chiranjeevi film, so, things are looking very positive for me at the moment,” says the actress.
