Actress Revathi Pillai who is playing a teenager in the latest released mini-series titled Jab We Matched, opens up on her character in the show. She feels that the role will be relatable to every teenager.

Revathi told OTTplay, “I think my character in the show is the most relatable one. She is a teenage school-going girl who had the chul of coming and exploring a dating app. She is from a conservative family, based in Lucknow. She goes for dating and then things start happening and the twist in the tale comes after that. Of course, I will not talk about the twist that will be a spoiler.”

The actress has earlier acted in shows like Yeh Meri Family, Special Ops, Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Story, Butterflies 3 and Capital A, Small A. As the actress is reuniting with her Kota Factory co-star Mayur More, we asked about how she looks at the importance of having a good relationship with the co-actor.

Revathi said, “Look, if you are a professional actor, even if you do not like your co-actor, you have to act. But when it comes to a friendly co-actor, especially like Mayur, as you know we have worked before as well, we know each other, it becomes easier for us. You can perform easily, and smoothly when you have a co-actor who is also a friend.”

The show is directed by Srinivas Sunderrajan. It also features Abhishek Nigam, Priyank Sharma, Prit Kamani, Shivangi Joshi, Jasmin Bhasin and Revathi Pillai among others.

The show is a four-episode series with four stories of love, dating and more with different titles for each episode. They deal with Algorithm, Jalkukde, Sirf Ek Date and Formula Sheet.

Jab We Matched is streaming on Amazon miniTV.
