Exclusive! Johnny Lever on Pop Kaun?: THIS is what made the actor dance in madness on the show

The multi-starrer comedy web series Pop Kaun? brings big stars such as Johnny Lever, the late Satish Kaushik, Saurabh Shukla, and others together.

The show has a sequence in which audiences will get to watch Johnny Lever do a dance number, which is something that hasn't been seen much before. We caught up with the actor, who spoke about "dancing with madness". 

Johnny told OTTplay, "I don't think anyone has made me dance the way Farhad (Samji, the director of the show) has. The way he narrated everything... it's like somewhere, he extracted that dancer from me. I do not know how he managed to do that."

The actor went on to add, "I give full credit to Farhad, because the writing in the situational comedy is very good. Any artist needs a director who can bring out the performer in him, and if the script is well-written, then the foundation of any film or show is strong. If you think that the show is wholesome entertainment, it is because we have a great cast and story, with a great director like Farhad Samji."

The story of Pop Kaun? revolves around Sahil, played by Kunal Kemmu. It is a funny take on how he, in search of his father, gets to know when he is all set to get married that he is not his son after all.

The series is one of the last projects of late actor Satish Kaushik, who passed away on March 9.

Pop Kaun? also stars Nupur Sanon, Saurabh Shukla, Chunky Pandey, Jamie Lever, Rajpal Yadav, and Ashwini Kalsekar. It is all set to release on March 17 on Disney+ Hotstar.
