Actor Karan Tacker, who is the lead in the cop-drama series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, shares that his long-standing dream of working with celebrated actor Abhimanyu Singh got fulfilled with the show. He added that their off-screen bond has beautifully translated on-screen.

Karan told OTTplay, "There were two actors who I always wanted to work with. One was Ashutosh Rana and the other, Abhimanyu Singh. Through this show, my wish has been fulfilled. I have developed a beautiful bond with Abhimanyu sir. I used to admire him as an actor; I was his fan really. But when I started working with, we bonded even more. I think he has delivered one of the best performances of his career in Khakee: The Bihar Chapter."

Drawing parallels between his character and real life, Karan said, "I have quite an interesting relationship with Abhimanyu sir in the show. He is a senior actor, so there were times when he would guide me through a scene, and I must say that he is a very giving and extremely supportive co-actor. In the show, Ranjan Kumar (Abhimanyu's character),has more knowledge about the place than my character, Amit. So, throughout the operation, my character takes guidance from Ranjan Kumar to execute the mission to catch the criminal, Chandan Mahto. Our on-screen and off-screen bond has reflected in our performance."

Abhimanyu is known for delivering fine performances in films like Gulaal, Rakta Charitra, Mom, and Sooryavanshi, to name a few.

The web series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, created by Neeraj Pandey and directed by Bhav Dhulia, also features Avinash Tiwary, Jatin Sarna, Ashutosh Rana, Aishwarya Sushmita, Shraddha Das, Vinay Pathak and Anup Soni. It is streaming on Netflix.
