For the better part of 2000s and early 2010s, Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya teamed up in several movies such as Swapnakoodu, Gulumaal and Three Kings that entertained the audience. Now, they are all set to collaborate again after a gap with Godfy Babu's upcoming entertainer titled Enthaada Saji.

Kunchacko, in an exclusive interview with OTTplay, says what makes their chemistry work is their friendship - both on and off-screen.

"I think our real-life and reel-life friendships help a lot. Even when I had stayed away from the industry for a while, the friendships remained. So, the films we did and we didn’t, also contribute to that camaraderie we share," he says.

The actor says it's been the same with Biju Menon too, with whom he has also done several dual hero projects. "Also, all of us want the entire movie to stand out and not just our character," says the Bheemante Vazhi actor.

Further on Jayasurya, who won this year's Kerala State Award for Best Actor, Kunchacko says, "I have known him from his initial days and he knows what I have gone through while I had stayed away from the industry. So, our friendship has seen our ups and downs, endured those and moved forward. Our families are also close, and that positive vibe exists between us. So, when we do a movie, we enjoy that process and I think that’s what reflects to the audience too."

Apart from Enthada Saji, Kunchacko is also excited about acting and co-producing Mahesh Narayanan's Ariyippu. "It’s a movie that I can be proud of. There’s no doubt about that. I am very excited about it. Every day, he calls and updates me about the growth of the script. I am eagerly awaiting to shoot the film," says Kunchacko.
