Exclusive! Mohanlal, Aamir Khan meet in Mumbai ahead of Bigg Boss Malayalam 4, here’s what they discussed

Speculations were rife that Mohanlal and Aamir Khan will be teaming up for a film, after the duo shared a photo of their recent meeting in Mumbai. With both actors having huge projects lined up, Aamir’s Laal Singh Chaddha and Mohanlal’s directorial debut Barroz: The Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure, fans too played the guessing game ever since the photo surfaced.

Talking exclusively to OTTplay, entrepreneur Sameer Hamsa, who was also at the party with Mohanlal and Aamir Khan, clarifies it was a casual meeting at a mutual friend’s house in Mumbai. “Both of them are very fond of each other and since Lal sir was also in Mumbai to shoot the first episode of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4, they decided to meet up,” he says.

Ask him if there were any discussions of future collaboration and Sameer clarifies, “No, they only discussed their current films. Lal sir is busy with Barroz and Aamir also has a bug project, Laal Singh Chaddha, coming up.

Mohanlal and Sameer are now back in Kochi and the superstar has already resumed work on his directorial debut. Meanwhile, this season of Bigg Boss Malayalam, which again has Mohanlal as the host, will begin on Sunday, March 27. “Lal sir will be flying to Mumbai every week till the show is over,” Sameer tells us. “He will also be busy with the shoot of Barroz, which will go on till May.”

Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 will be held at Goregaon Film City in Mumbai this year. The first season of the show was also held in Mumbai. The Grand opening episode will be aired at 7pm on March 27 where the 18 contestants of the show will also be unveiled. Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 can be watched on Asianet and streamed live 24/7 on Disney+ Hotstar.
