Exclusive! Neena Gupta: Excited to work with R Balki on Lust Stories 2

National Award-winning actresses Neena Gupta, who was last seen in the multi-starrer film Uunchai, says she has some interesting projects in the pipeline. She adds that every project gives her a chance to showcase her versatility as an artiste.

Neena told OTTplay, "I am getting offers for many different kinds of characters these days, that too age-appropriate ones. This is a very positive change and I am glad that it is happening. In recent times, I have finished multiple projects. As you may know, I have done a film with Anupam (Kher) titled Shiv Shastri Balboa, in which I played a Telugu housemaid who works in the USA. I have also finished shooting a part of my new film that also stars Jackie Shroff. You know, I have done two films with dogs — they are my co-stars! How cute is that? (smiles) One film is titled Ba (grandmother), in which the story revolves around a dog and I. It is a very special story. "

"I have also finished shooting for a film in which I play a Maharashtrian woman," she added.

Above all these projects, the actress said that she is excited about working with R Balki in his upcoming film. "I am working with R Balki in the new season of the anthology Lust Story. It is such a wonderful script. Although I have a small role and worked for only 10 days, I am very excited about it because the story is well written. Look, at this stage in my career, not the length, but the meaning of the role matters to me. So, yes, I am in a good space," said the 63-year-old actress.

Last week, the actress also shared a poster of one of her upcoming films titled Vadh, which is likely to release in theatres on December 9.

This year, Neena has appeared in two films — Goodbye and Uunchai. She was also seen in the second seasons of the popular web series Panchayat and Masaba Masaba.

Uunchai, Neena's latest film release, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Sarika. It is currently in theatres.
