Exclusive news on Balagam: Priyadarshi gets big bucks as remuneration

Balagam has become a big success at the box office. Directed by Venu Yeldandi, this village drama had Priyadarshi as the main lead. He played a selfish village youth who is looking for money to settle down in life but the death of his grandfather changes his life upside down. The noted actor won a good appreciation for his performance in the film.

Dil Raju's duaghter Hanshita Reddy and nephew Harshit Reddy produced this film and Dil Raju took care of the promotions. Well, we have now come to know that the makers paid Priyadarshi fifty lakhs for playing the main lead in the film. This is quite a big amount as Priyadarshi mostly does character roles and gets paid on a daily basis.

Dil Raju and his family have made handsome profits with this film. They got big money with the non-theatrical rights and were in profits even before the film was released. Whatever the film made from its theatrical release, they earned more profits. The news is that the Dil Raju camp has also paid big bucks to director Venu Yeldandi as he was the one responsible for the film's success.

Balagam is set in rural Telangana and deals with the mentalities of small town people and how they react to situations within the family. Bheems has composed the music which became quite popular. The film is still playing in a few theaters in Telangana and is raking good money.
