Exclusive! Pavail Gulati and Rakul Preet Singh say 'I Love You' to Shah Rukh Khan

The name of their upcoming film is I Love You, so we asked lead actors Pavail Gulati and Rakul Preet Singh to tell us about their favourite romantic Bollywood hero. And both the 1990s kids chose the eternal king of romance, superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Revealing his favourite romantic hero, Pavail said, "Of course Shah Rukh Khan. He is not just a romantic hero, but now, with the action sequences he did in Pathaan, he is an all-rounder and can do everything. From the 1990s until now, nothing has changed about him, including our love for him. I have watched Casablanca (1942) and other romantic classics, but there is no substitute for an SRK film. My favourite SRK films are Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa and Yes Boss."

Rakul added, "Yes, he is the king of romance. No one can beat Shah Rukh Khan in that genre. His love stories, onscreen romance, and song-dance sequences—he is just love. My connection with films is all about the SRK films that I grew up watching as a 1990s kid. So, I love DDLJ, Kal Ho Naa Ho, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai."

I Love You also stars Akshay Oberoi and is about a love triangle, a mysterious murder, and more.
