Exclusive: Pawan Kalyan-Harish Shankar film being penned by this noted director

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is balancing both his film and political career simultaneously. Though he is active in politics, he is keeping on signing films one after the other. But the pace with which he is completing these films is very slow and fans are not happy with it. A few weeks back, his film with star director Harish Shankar was launched in Hyderabad and Pawan Kalyan also attended the event.

The film was supposed to be an original script with the backdrop of social issues. But for some reason, the subject was changed at the last minute and Pawan asked Harish Shankar to work on a different subject and hence named the film Ustad Bhagat Singh. Now, we have come to exclusively know from our sources that yet another noted Telugu director named Dasaradh, has turned writer for this film and he is making changes to the script.

Well, the remake in discussion is Vijay's Tamil hit Theri. Though the film is on OTT and was also dubbed in Telugu as Police, Pawan liked the subject and asked the makers to lock the script. For this, he chose Dasaradh and one of his close sources reveals to us that a lot of changes are being done to the original and Pawan's role and the whole father-daughter track will be changed quite a bit.

There is no denying the fact that Pawan Kalyan has a solid fan following and so much was said when he decided to remake the Malayalam hit Ayyapanum Koshiyum as Bheemla Nayak which was fresh on OTT. But still, Pawan Kalyan went and did it and scored a hit proving that his fans love him to see in different avatars and they do not mind even if the film is a remake. So, now, Pawan has locked the Theri remake and will soon start shooting for the film.
