Saiyami Kher is playing a poetess again in the upcoming film 8 A.M. Metro. In the web series Faadu, she played a college student who is an aspiring poet.

The actress explains that this is nothing but a coincidence, and perhaps she is manifesting everything on screen that she loves in real life.

Saiyami told OTTplay, "I think I am attracting everything that I love in my real life. In my real life, I love poetry. I read and follow the work of many poets. I signed the web series Faadu a long time ago, and 8 A.M. Metro happened later. But coincidentally, both my characters have an interest in poetry. Manjari and Iravti are different; so is Saiyami, but I think poetry connects all of us."

8 A.M. Metro is set in Hyderabad, where a young housewife named Iravati, who is a poet and has a love for literature, meets a stranger named Preetam on the Metro. How catching the same Metro every day and their regular interaction bring the two people together and heal each other's emotional wounds sets the basic storyline of the film.

There are six poems, penned by the veteran poet Gulzar, that are used extensively as a crucial part of the narrative of the film.

8 A.M. Metro, written and directed by Raj R, will release in theatres on May 19.
