Exclusive! Poonam Pandey on being physically abused by husband Sam Bombay: I have been hospitalized a couple of times

In 2021, Poonam Pandey had accused her husband Sam Bombay of physically assaulting her. When the two were at a vacation in Goa, Poonam filed a police complaint against Sam and was hospitalized. She was seen with bruises on her head, eyes and face.

In fact, Poonam told OTTplay that it wasn’t just once but she had been hospitalized a couple of times. When we asked Poonam if she would be talking about the incident on the upcoming reality show Lock Upp (hosted by Kangana Ranaut) where she is one of the contestants, the actress confirmed it saying, “Yes, you will see that. I have been hospitalized a couple of times. You will see that part.”

Poonam is all ready to talk about all the other controversies of her life too. She also gives an affirmation about that by stating, “Apart from that, you will get to see the real Poonam Pandey that is in front of you. Whatever I’ve gone through in life has just made me a stronger person to the extent that I can sit in front of you and talk about it proudly.”

The model-actress also hinted at ‘getting out of the scenario’ (with her husband). She also used the word over to hint that a divorce might be on the table. “Yes, I got over with it. I didn’t kill myself in that scenario. I am out of it and I’m proud of that fact.”

Poonam and Sam Bombay were dating for some time before they tied the nuptial knot. Their wedding announcement came as a pleasant surprise to Poonam’s fans on social media.

Soon after their wedding, differences started to arise between Sam and Poonam. They went for their honeymoon in Goa, which is when the incident reportedly took place.

For the uninitiated, Sam was arrested after the incident. He had spent a few days in prison before the couple decided what to do next in their relationship.
