Exclusive! Rituparna Sengupta to team up with Indraneil Sengupta in Indrasis Acharya’s next?

Rituparna Sengupta is all reared up with her upcoming film Maayakumari, Directed by Arindam Sil, the film also features Abir Chatterjee, Arunima Ghosh, Sauraseni Maitra, and others. Billed as a tribute to the 100 years of Bengali cinema, Maayakumari will hit the theatre on January 13. Meanwhile, Indraneil Sengupta has successfully established himself as the new Feluda with Sandip Ray’s Hatyapuri. As per industry sources, The actor and actress will team up for Indrasis Acharya’s next. 

While there is no confirmation yet, Indrasis’ new film will be a collaboration between Kerala and Bengal. There is a possibility of the yet-untitled film will be produced by a Kerala production team. Along with Rituparna and Indraneil, the film will also feature Golondaaj-fame Anirban Bhattacharya and Ananya Sengupta. As per sources, the film is billed as an ‘offbeat’ love story. There has been no official confirmation or announcement. This will be Rituparna's second collaboration with Indrasis after Parcel.

Meanwhile, Indrasis’s last film Niharika (In the Mist) had its World Premiere at Adelaide Film Festival in October last year. Not only the Adelaide film fest, but Niharika was also officially selected at the Hanoi International Film Festival, where competed with 11 other films worldwide. The film had its India premiere at the International Film Festival of Kerala this year.
