Exclusive: Sai Dharam Tej's next film cracks a solid theatrical rights deal, here's what we know

Sai Dharam Tej is out from the public eye as he had a massive bike accident and nearly faced death. But he stuck in and fought his way back. He is back on the sets of his new film Virupaksha, a dark thriller. The film has a very good concept and is done with its shoot and the pre-release business has already begun.

Now, we have come to know that the film's theatrical rights of the film have been sold for 22 crores in total. This is a massive amount for Sai Dharam Tej who is out of form in his career as of now. But one of the distributors from the Godavari area feels that the film has in it to bring back the money.

BVSN Prasad and Sukumar Writings jointly produce this film which has Samyukha and Sunil in key roles. Debutante Karthik Varma, who assisted Sukumar in the past has directed this film which is set in a small village and deals with several spooky moments in the village. Sai Tej has pinned a lot of hope on this film to make a comeback.

Sai Dharam Tej will be seen in a crazy role in this film which has music by Kantara fame Anjaneesh Loknath composed the music for this film. The makers are in plan to launch the trailer in a big way in the days to come. The post-production has started and the makers will release the film this summer.
