Exclusive: Samantha asking for changes in Vijay Devarakonda's Khushi, here's the actual truth

Samantha is one of the top stars in Telugu cinema and has been working for over a decade now. She was in news a few months back due to her illness myositis which kept her away from the limelight for a long time now. But she is a fighter and breezed through her tough times and is back to her shoots in Mumbai. Well, one of her Telugu films, Khushi co-starring star hero Vijay Devarakonda is now in the news.

As per the latest rumors in the Telugu media, the news is that Samantha has asked for changes in the script of Khushi and as the director, Shiva Nirvana is hellbent on not making changes, she is avoiding the shoot and is demanding new rules be brought into the schedule. But we have spoken to Samantha's team and they have condemned this news and said the news being circulated is absolutely false.

One of her team members says that Samantha will shoot for her OTT series Citadel for eleven days and once she is done with that, Sam will head straight to the sets of Khushi in Hyderabad. Already, the makers have canned a lengthy 40-day schedule in Kashmir. As Samantha fell sick, the shoot was halted for a while. Now that Sam is back on track, things are working as planned, confirms the source.

On the other hand, Samantha is also busy with her new Telugu film Shakunthalam directed by Gunasekhar. She is playing a princess in this film which will be released on the 17th of February. The promotions have started and Sam will soon join the team for the promotional interviews in Hyderabad. Samantha has been a very professional actress and was not involved in controversies related to her films to date. So, her being involved in one has upset the actress says the source.
