In 2022, Aditi Roy’s web series Bodhon was released just before the Durga Puja. With Sandipta Sen and Ditipriya Roy in lead, the series delves into the ordeal of a young student who was raped. Sandipta plays the part of her teacher who stands by her rights despite social and political pressure. The series received moderate reception from viewers and critics alike. 

Now, According to sources, Sandipta and Aditi have teamed up again with their new show, Khelaghor. Along with her, the show also features Shoumo Banerjee, Angana Roy, Rahul Dev Bose, Anindya Chatterjee, and others as the main characters. The shooting of the show has started and it is speculated to be released later this year. The show delves into an affair between a professor, played by Shoumo, and his student, Angana. Sandipta will be seen as Shoumo’s wife. There has been no confirmation from the platform yet.

After Bodhon, Sandipta was seen in Zee5’s web series Shikarpur. Her character, Chumki, is the love interest of the protagonist Keshto, played by Ankush. Along with them, Kaushik Ganguly, Debasish Mondal, and others were part of the series. Shikarpur has been largely appreciated by viewers.

Meanwhile, Angana will be seen in Hoichoi’s next big release Indubala Bhaater Hotel along with Subhashree Ganguly. She is also gearing up for Tathagata Mukherjee’s Pariah with Vikram Chatterjee and Sreelekha Mitra. 

Hoichoi released its slate for 2023 in September last year. Khelaghor has not been in the lineup. According to sources, Hoichoi has shelved a number of projects and introduced smaller projects instead.
