Sharman Joshi was a part of several hit Bollywood films. But suddenly, audiences didn't get to see as much of him. When we spoke to the actor after the release of his web series Kafas, he told us that he is quite choosy when it comes to the projects that he agrees to work on, even those on OTT platforms.

Speaking about his upcoming projects, the actor told OTTplay, "It's been a long time since I have acted in a film. Even today, when someone asks me why I am not as visible as other actors, it makes me feel special because it shows that people are interested in my work. It means that they still love watching my films and shows. Now, I have been receiving positive reviews for Kafas. For the last three years, I have worked on three films, and two of them are ready to be released on OTT. But since they have not been announced yet, I cannot speak much about them. One film is a theatrical release, and the producer will take a call on the release date. Without giving away too many details about my projects, what I can say is that one of the films is bankrolled by Sony Pictures and directed by Umesh Shukla, while another is a collaboration between Vinod Bhanushali and Anurag Kashyap. I am also working with Abbas-Mastan. They are of different genres, and I am very excited about them."

Here's what we know about the films: Sharman has finished working on the film, Penthouse, which is directed by Abbas-Mastan. Anurag Kashyap and Vinod Bhanushali's collaborative project, Sab Moh Maya Hai, is the story of a father and son.

Before he signed off, Sharman told us that success has empowered him to choose better projects. "Choices evolve with success, and it makes me want to do something that is unexpected for me. That not only surprises the audience but also helps me grow as an artist. But to find that one script that challenges me is an equally challenging task," Sharman said.

Kafas is available to stream on SonyLIV.
